JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY:
This position provides:
• Primary – Administrative support for the Electrical Construction Group Project Managers
• Secondary – Administrative support for other Field Co-Workers
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Project Set up/ Tracking/Correspondence/Follow up/Billing/Project Close-out Coordinate Office Staff’s Schedule as needed Controller’s support – Accounts Payable/Receivable
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
Associates or Technical Degree in a related discipline from an accredited two-year college. At least 3 years working experience in a construction office environment is desirable; or the equivalent combination of education and experience. Must demonstrate the willingness to continue education in related areas that are important to the company.
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, trade journals, and contracts. Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers and colleagues.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, proportions, percentages, etc. Ability to apply concepts of common business ratios.
REASONING ABILITY:
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished– written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES:
Computer literate with basic knowledge of SECCO Software or other related systems. Able to accurately type 45 words per minute. Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, Access). Ability to learn and navigate our accounting software (currently Jonas). This position requires a positive attitude and a minimum 95% attendance level.

Represent the company in a professional manner. Exercise tact and professionalism with confidentiality in and out of the office. Must be able to prioritize in a fast-paced working environment. Seek out responsibility and tasks – do not wait to be directed Agrees that any displays sponsored by the coworker in the office area or on PC if found inappropriate by management shall be promptly removed. This includes pictures, images, and words. Agrees that the Internet and email are valuable tools for business. It will be used for work related purposes only and not for recreational or other personal use even during non-work hours – unless permission has been secured from management. Visiting inappropriate sites will also not be tolerated. Offenses of this rule shall be dealt with by written warning and could be grounds for dismissal
WORK HOURS:
Normal Work Hours are 7:00 AM to 4 PM Monday through Friday (Lunch 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM) This is a salaried position and occasionally requires working longer hours, and/or a Saturday to complete the work. Coworkers must work a minimum of 95% of their employment. Failure to achieve 95% is cause to consider the position abandoned, and cause for termination. Failure to provide proper notice of absence is cause for immediate termination.
MEASURES of PERFORMANCE:
The Project Administrator will be evaluated after the first 90
days in the position, and subsequently on a frequent basis, but not less than annually and specifically on the
Essential Duties and Responsibilities outlined.
