SECCO, INC. Hiring Process:
We believe in only hiring great co-workers. We’d like to share the hiring process we follow. We hope to pre-answer the typical questions we receive. Fact is, few job applicants are able to survive our rigorous hiring process. If you are fortunate enough to do so, you will become part of a highly skilled and motivated workforce. We wish you luck!
- Post job opening internally and then in various media to attract a wide pool of qualified applicants.
- If candidates can meet posted job qualification requirements we accept job applications and conduct assessments/testing online.
- Pre-screen job applicants and conduct brief phone interview with select candidates to whittle down those candidates to be interviewed in person (20 minutes or less).
- Conduct extensive interviews with remaining candidates. This may include more than one interview, including possible group interviews, and a ride-along/train-along with someone currently in the position.
- Have final candidates go through skill testing, pre-employment drug testing, and background checks. This could include criminal history and credit background, degree certification, driving record, employment history, etc.
- Present Offer Letter and Position Agreement to final candidate. Send rejection letters to all others.
- Welcome co-worker and enter into orientation process.
Please understand that this process will take as long as necessary to make a proper hiring decision. You will be informed of your status as soon as it changes.
