Residential Service Electrician

• Plan and execute daily work by troubleshooting and performing electrical service
• Verify materials are correct and ready to perform the job productively
• Take the necessary steps to properly and safely perform all duties & tasks to company’s professional image
• Troubleshoot residential electrical problems

 Requirements

• 4 years of electrical experience
• Sales experience a plus!  This is a sales/technician position – our technicians sell their own work
• Harrisburg city license preferred

Journeyman Electrician or Foremen - Commercial Construction

• Performs all electrical tasks with general supervision
• Install bus feeders
• Wire and conduit sizing
• Switchgear installation and termination
• Layout and preparation for installation
• Underground layout and rough-in
• Motors and controls – troubleshooting
• Possess skills of Year Four Apprentice

Requirements

• Harrisburg City Journeymen’s license (or ability to acquire one after 120 days from date of hire)
• Four (4) years of electrical experience
• Positively identify colors of wires
• Comprehend reading and drawing prints and schematics
• Bend conduit by hand with hand benders
• Must use all power tools, saws, threaders, wire tuggers, hydraulic benders, and knockout punches
• Capable of digging trenches either by hand or power equipment
• Operate two (2) handed tools/equipment, cable cutters, hammer drills, compression tools, jack hammers, etc
• Read and interpret maps, instructional manuals, specifications, work site directions, blue prints, and written instructions
• Operate and work from mechanical personnel lifts (electric or gas powered)
• Must be able to bend, stoop, squat, crawl, climb, kneel, balance, push, pull, and reach overhead
• Lift 50 pounds
• Climb ladders (all types)
• Complete overhead work for full day assignments
• Must be able to make transition from co-worker parking area or street into construction work areas and to gain access to all levels of the building, even if the only means of access is by O.S.H.A approved site construction ladder or stairs still under construction but acceptable for use
• Possess good vision (normal or corrected)
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret directions and procedures
